Adventureland Underground Ride

It opened in 1996.

Adventureland underground ride. A 1999 ride through the Underground dark ride at Iowas Adventureland Park. After waiting through a mostly covered outside line guests go up a ramp where they wait at a door. It was built on top of the former Aquatheatre.

The Underground also was down for awhile during the day but I was told this was because Bad Bob had finally blown up the mine shaft. Multiple lift hills keep the train moving along the 911-foot long track. This rides lifts are unique as no drops are present.

A long time ago there used to be a sacred land that the people of the caverns used to pray at then one day a rival tribe invaded the land and pillaged the people and killed the prince. This CCI Custom Coasters International wooden coaster is normally very dark but we filmed it with the lights on to show you a clear view of the wooden tra. Though this ride is built as a roller coaster the ride experience is closer to a classic dark ride experience. Underground is a dark ride that uses a roller coaster car.

The final coaster credit we had to get at Adventureland was the Underground. The ride would be resuming as soon as they got the rubble out of the way. If you are planning a visit to the park for a specific ride be sure to contact them first before driving out.

This ride is half. And if the people do die in the underground their spirits dont leave. Riders are invited to come and discover an old mine.
